How is my policy affected if I go away on holiday?
As long as your home does not remain empty for more than 60 days, your cover will not be affected by your holiday. If you intend to be away for more than 60 days, call MORE TH>N to arrange for extended cover.

How will lost or damaged items be replaced?
Lost and damaged items are replaced on a new-for-old basis. The only exception is clothing which may be subject to a wear and tear deduction. In most cases, the new items will be delivered to your door.

Will my policy be affected by making a claim?
In most cases, making a claim will not affect your policy. However, some unique situations require a case-by-case evaluation (such as situations in which an extremely large number of claims are made).

What can I do if I change my mind?
MORE TH>N will accept a cancellation of your cover within 14 days of receiving your policy documentation. This cancellation will include a full refund of your entire premium, unless you have already made a claim.

I am a Tenant; will improvements that I make to the home be covered under my property owner’s policy?
If, as a tenant, you make improvements to the rented home at your own cost, these items belong to you and not the property owner. Not all items that belong to the tenant are covered under the property owner’s policy.

It may be possible to include tenant’s improvement cover under your Home insurance policy. The cover includes loss or damage to fixed tenants' improvements and internal decorations up to a value of £6,000 caused by Fire, Flood, Escape of water, Riot, Malicious damage, Theft, Subsidence, Falling trees, Branches, Satellite equipment, Aerials and Collision involving aircraft and is subject to the usual exclusions of the Buildings cover section.

How do I get free contents cover and how long does it last?
