MORE TH >N was the first insurance company in the UK to commit to being carbon neutral.
In December 2006, MORE TH >N achieved their goal set in 2000 to reduce their carbon emissions by more than half each year - now the company has a zero carbon impact.
Here are some ways that MORE TH >N customers can go green in their cars:
- Drive at a constant and gradual speed, avoiding sharp acceleration or heavy breaking
- Limit your use of the air conditioner, open a window instead
- Reduce wind resistance by removing roof racks and bike carriers whenever they are not in use
- Make every trip count; avoid short journeys and driving alone
- Do not idle. Turn off your engine when you are stuck in traffic or waiting
